About Us

FOCUS was founded in 2010 under the leadership of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and CESA 6.  FOCUS is a collaborative effort between business and the education community that effectively interests and prepares students for the STEM workforce.  FOCUS supports existing STEM programs in our community and bridges the gap for ongoing student involvement.

The robust collaboration between organizations connects schools, parents, teachers and students to STEM opportunities while offering on-going support.  It is our goal that access to positive role models and community resources will increase student excitement and success in STEM programming.

The goal is to provide the students a clear path to economic self-sufficiency in high skill, high wage and high demand careers.  FOCUS will develop confident, goal driven youth with an education direction as they proceed through higher education.
