20th Annual Fox Cities Business Expo

The 20th Annual Business Expo will be held at the Tri County Ice Arena in Neenah on Tuesday, September 9 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.   Each year 150 plus exhibitors have lined the Tri-County Ice Arena to meet and greet their customers and prospective customers.   Booth rental is still at 2006 prices if one registers by July 31.

Chamber seeks to recognize area Manufacturers

The Fox Cities Chamber is searching for the top manufacturing companies in the Fox Cities area. This manufacturing company could be your own, a client firm or one of your peers who are worthy of this prestigious award of recognition. Nomination forms are now available online. Deadline for nominating is Sept 5th.

Lamp Recycling Date Set

Start planning now for the recycling of luorescent lamps, ballasts, batteries and computer components. The 2008 Lamp Recycling event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20. The event is sponsored by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and will again be held at the Menasha campus of Goodwill Industries at the intersection of highways 441 and 41.

Companies that have 300 or more fluorsecent bulbs to recycle may make arrangements for a pickup at no additional cost, as long as all the bulbs are in a single Fox Cities location. Requests for pick up must be made through the Chamber office at least 1 week prior to the event.

A special state rate has been negotiated by the Chamber for its members. Non-members can also take advantage of these prices, for an additional surcharge of $10. Payment must be made at the time of drop-off. The Chamber can not invoice anyone for this service.
