Life in the Fox Cities

As the pace of life everywhere seems to quicken with changing world events and all of the experiences and activities we try to cram into 24 short hours a day, the pace of the Fox Cities, too, seems to step in staccato. And if you choose a fast pace, there is plenty to keep you occupied here.

Recreational trails rim our residential areas as well as string their way through the nearby countryside. Walkers, joggers, bikers, rollerbladers and young parents wielding strollers and jogging carts abound on these trail systems, on neighborhood sidewalks and in the parks.

Running clubs and spinning classes make good use of fitness facilities and the community YMCA's. There are race events and competitions throughout the seasons.

And if you choose to slow down the hectic pace of life, there is terrific scenery along our riverbanks, in our parks, and in our neighborhoods. From active retirees to energetic young professionals, all types of individuals and families contentedly make their home in the Fox Cities. You decide how busy or how low-key you want to be — the Fox Cities can be home.
